21 year old dating a 16 year old
However, the age of consent is 18 years where the sexual activity "exploits" the young person -- when it involves prostitution, pornography or occurs in a relationship of authority, trust or dependency (e.g., with a teacher, coach or babysitter).Sexual activity can also be considered exploitative based on the nature and circumstances of the relationship, e.g., the young person's age, the age difference between the young person and their partner, how the relationship developed (quickly, secretly, or over the Internet) and how the partner may have controlled or influenced the young person. means a 16 year old can consent to having sex with any one , except for people in authority such has teachers , counselors etc.what kind of moron who make that into law, yet it exists. In fact, I'm 35 and my closest female friend is 21. Heck, my cousin was 16 when she had a 20-year-old boyfriend, and it hardly scarred her for life.I also have close friends who are much older than I am. If a 21-year-old falls for a 16-year-old, that doesn't necessarily mean he was specifically searching for a teenager any more than I was looking for a 21-year-old best friend. I knew plenty of under 18 year old girls that claimed to be 18 up to 22. Yet which of those two scenarios is the more, well, wrong?I didnt make the law up, its just law and most people know laws dont make sense, its like their is a law in Alabama saying its against the law for someone to drive a vehicle while wearing blind fold?Since I dont know you or your best friend i cannot comment if you believe you and your best friend are compatible God Bless you, doesnt matter what I think."Adult" in this sense is merely a legal term that has no correlation to biology or psychology. As I mentioned already, nothing magically happens to a person on their 18th birthday that suddenly grants them maturity they did not possess the day before.
